One Question For Those Condemning The Video – “Come Closer” by Wizkid ft Drake
Nigerian superstar Ayo Balogun “Wizkid” has been receiving a whole lot of lashes from Nigerian/African fans for American rapper “Drake” not appearing in his recently released crispy visuals titled #ComeCloser.
I’ve got one question for those particular set of Africans condemning that Video.
“WHY DID YOU NOT LASH AT DRAKE FOR NOT SHOWING WIZKID’S FACE IN #ONEDANCE VIDEO WHICH ALSO FEATURED KYLA…”??? EVEN THO WHEN WIZKID WAS AT THE LOCATION OF THE VIDEO SHOOT,I PRESUMED; HE WAS NEVER PROMOTED IN THAT VIDEO!!!….
THIS IS THE FACT!!!
Africans needs to start valuing their own “No head is better or greater than one“. The African Music industry is fast growing , let’s encourage our own!!! Drake is human as Wizkid, Drake is talented, Wizkid is … Both are artistes and they both have great contents to sell globally.
Music business is different from friendship , Music is love, music is one, music is life.
Wizkid is creating something iconic for the African music scene, and we as Africans need to start appreciating & supporting ours till the world adopts African sound as theirs, just the way they have influenced our own sound.
This new video by Wizkid is just the definition of “AFRICA TO THE WORLD”
