Ubi Franklin: Iyanya lied against me to make himself look good
Ubi Franklin, the Label boss of Made Men Music and former business partner of singer Iyanya has said that the singer lied about him in the recent interview he had on Ndani TV.
The two who seemed to be very good friends in the past are now engaged in an open feud after Iyanya revealed alleged that he was betrayed by Ubi.
The singer claimed in a video interview on Ndani TV that Mr. Franklin deceived him into believing that he co-owned the MMMG record label but realised later, that his name was not in the documents.
Iyanya at the time was also an artiste on the label and Ubi doubled as his manager. He parted ways with the brand back in 2016 to join Mavin Records with no bad-blood revelations until now.
Ubi on the other hand has come out to defend himself with document proof he shared on Instagram (see them below).
In the post, Ubi Franklin also expressed disappointment in how someone he took as a brother would lie to make himself look good and that he put the documents out to clear him name of wrong accusations.
