Popular International media firm – CNN, reported the killings at Lekki tollgate on Twitter, calling it a clash between protesters and law enforcement agents.
They tweeted: “Clashes between protesters and law enforcement agents in Lagos turned bloody on Tuesday, despite a state-wide curfew, with eyewitnesses telling CNN that multiple demonstrators have been shot by soldiers”

Nollywood Veteran – Genevieve Nnaji, lashed out on the news agency, saying the tweet should be corrected immediately.
She tweeted: “Correct this immediately. It was an ambush! A massacre! A bloody genocide! #EndSARS”
