REVIEW
REVIEW: Joeboy’s “Alcohol” is Melancholic yet holds grooves
Joeboy has begun to gradually explore the Amapiano genre, even as he still retains the goodness of his artistic spec; with a vocal range that alludes to a kind of magic attached to his creation. He is authentic and has continued to create on various levels to express how he feels even as he takes it up on the melancholic and groovy ‘Alcohol‘.
He becomes more personal about his recent effort, and away from being the regular creator who presents his art towards telling one about the most beautiful love tales and romantic paradigm, he becomes more personal and wishes himself the blessings and Goodwills, perhaps because he has decided to keep moving on and proving his denigrators wrong. He says, let nobody stop his enjoyment and that he wants to dance under the sun.
Joeboy believes in himself and affirms that he would not fall and that he doesn’t want to go back to where he was before, perhaps before he was discovered and incubated by Mr. Eazi’s Empawa Africa. Joeboy doesn’t want stress in his life and it’s why he chooses to take Alcohol, even in his Life’s striking catastrophes, he promises to solve his problem and move on with his life in peace. However, he tends to keep proving to his detractors and those who want him to fall, that he is a worthy superstar.
