Tems Diagnosed With Voice Disorder, Announced Temporary Break From Music
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer Tems has revealed that she was diagnosed with Reflux Laryngitis and would be taking a break from music.
She made this disclosure in a Twitter post this evening, June 14. According to the post, she is down with Reflux Laryngitis, voice disorder which is caused by GERD or acid backing up into the esophagus and vocal cords.
She said that following her doctors’ instructions, she had postponed the two shows at which she was billed to perform in London.
Assuring her fans who had purchased tickets to the shows, she said that their tickets were still valid and new dates would be announced the next day.
