“I Put Hope In God” – Zinoleesky Breaks Silence On Headies Nomination

Marlian Records’ artist Zinoleesky finally broke his silence and spoke on the Headies nomination he received few weeks ago.

In May 2022 Zinoleesky was announced as a nominee in the most competitive of Headies’ categories: the next-rated award. In this category there are 4 other artists (Ayra Starr, BNXN, Lojay and Ruger) competing with him.

Zinoleesky spoke on the Headies nomination in a new interview with The Nation.

According to The Nation newspaper, which recently had an exclusive chat with the Kilofeshe singer, it said ‘he [Zinoleesky] puts his hope in God’.

It quoted him as saying that only being nominated means a big deal for him because it proves people do recognize him and appreciate his works.

His full statement read, ‘I put God first, and like I said any nomination in any award is showing that at least people recognize you and that’s what’s up so God all the way still’.

Headies Awards will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the COBB Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, United States.

The organisers of Headies have announced a brand new Bentley car as the prize for the winner of the next-rated award.
