Drake And The Weeknd Snub Grammys, Refuse To Submit Music For 2023 Awards Show
Canadian artists, Drake and The Weeknd snubbed the Grammys, refused to submit their music for the upcoming 2023 awards show.
According to Pitchfork, Drake and The Weeknd didn’t submit their music for Grammy awards consideration.
Drake and The Weeknd, who have both won multiple Grammys in their respective careers, seem nowhere to be found on this year’s submission list.
Drake’s fued with the Grammys started in 2017 after his smash hit Hotline Bling received nominations in rap categories – even though he insisted it was a pop record.
Last year, Drake created controversies after withdrawing all his nominations. And this year again, the rapper has snubbed the Grammys, as he is missing on submission list.
The Weeknd, on the other side, had fell out with Grammys in 2021 when his album After Hours did not receive any nominations from the Recording Academy.
Like Drake, The Weeknd didn’t submit any solo music for consideration this year!
