Grammys 2023: Tems Wins Her First Grammy Award
Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Tems has won her first Grammy award to become the first Nigerian female artist to do so.
Tems shines at the ongoing 2023 Grammy awards ceremony, winning her first award of the show with her collaboration with American rapper Future for ‘Wait For You’, also featuring Drake.
The song won Best Melodic Rap Performance, beating ‘Die Hard’ by Kendrick Lamar amongst others.
By winning her first-ever Grammy, Tems also became the first female Nigerian artist to win a Grammy.
