‘Forget Betting And Fast’ – Naira Marley Advises Muslim Fans On Ramadan
Popular Nigerian singer Naira Marley has advised his Muslim fans against betting during Ramadan.
The singer, whose real name is Azeez Fashola, made this known in a post on his verified Twitter, in which he warned Muslims against the act of betting.
Naira Marley, who has a cult following in the streets known as ‘Marlians’, told his Muslim followers on Twitter to refrain from gambling during the period of Ramadan.
He wrote, ‘Bro, leave that sure odds and forget betting..fast 🙏’.
In a follow-up post, the singer also quoted a verse from the Holy Qur’an talking about the month of Ramadan.
