“My Fight With Basketmouth Started In 2006” – AY Reveals
While talking on the controversial statement in a recent chat with media personality Chude Jideonwo, AY revealed his issue with Basketmouth started in 2006.
Famous Nigerian actor and comedian AY has been open about the origins of his conflict with Basketmouth.
Recall that in 2022, AY said Basketmouth has a “uncontrollable superiority complex” during an Instagram Q&A session. Not content with that, he added that for his own sanity, AY had to stay away from Basketmouth’s “incessant childishness.”
He described going to fill in for Basketmouth at an event for which he was supposed to pay him N30,000, but Basketmouth told him a falsehood claiming the event host wasn’t happy with his work in order to get out of paying him.
