My Accident Was A Blessing In Disguise – Victony
Nigerian music artist Victony has revealed that his accident was a blessing in disguise.
Recall that in April 2021, the 22-year-old singer was involved in a ghastly accident that left one dead and three injured.
Victony, in a recent interview with the Tee with Tay podcast, said that the accident was actually a blessing in disguise for him.
He explained that the accident helped him to slow down and gain a deeper understanding of what is truly important in life.
He said, ‘The accident was a blessing in disguise because it’s teaching me a lot, I’m still learning from that experience.
You know, it kind of like just slowed me down and just made me understand that certain things were really important in life’.
Recounting the experience, Victony said he remembers exiting the club and heading home with his friend, he fell asleep in the car and woke up in the hospital four days later.
He said, ‘We just left the club, on our way back, I slept off. I was tired. That was like my first time outside up to that time. So, I slept off.
When I woke up, I was in the hospital with my dad. I was like “What’s happening?” Because my parents didn’t know I was in Lagos. So, I was like “Why is my dad here?” And he told me I was out for like 3 or 4 days’.
