‘Burna Boy Is Not New Cat’ – Ghanaian Music Star, Stonebwoy Speaks On Davido’s Interview
Popular Ghanaian dancehall singer, Stonebwoy has spoken on Davido’s controversial interview where he called Burna Boy a ‘new cat’.
Stonebwoy, who is close friend of Nigerian music star Davido, disclosed in an interview with GoldMyne TV that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy is not ‘a new cat’, unlike what Davido said.
It will be recalled that last week Davido turned social media upside down with an interview in which he labelled his colleague Burna Boy a ‘new cat’ in the industry, putting him in the same category as Rema, Fireboy DML, Mayorkun, and Asake.

Stonebwoy, however, has a different opinion from Davido regarding Burna Boy’s status, as he stated that Burna Boy cannot be considered a ‘new cat’ (new artist) given his long-standing presence in the industry.
He added that Burna Boy cannot be considered a new artist given his long-standing presence in the industry. He referred to artistes like Ruger as ‘new cats’ and excluded Rema, stating he has 5 years of experience in the industry.
