Crayon Announces Release Date For His Debut Studio Album ‘Trench To Triumph’
Nigerian singer and Mavin Records’ signee, Crayon has announced the official date for the release of his debut album titled ‘Trench to Triumph’.
The singer, also fondly called Captain Hook, took to Twitter on Sunday, July 16, to announce to his fans that his debut album would be available on all digital platforms from July 21st.
Crayon, who has dropped two EPs since he got to Mavin Records in 2019, first broke out through his appearance on the 2019 Mavin all-star song titled ‘All is in Order’, alongside label mate and friend Rema.
His forthcoming debut album is rumoured to have features with Rema, with whom he has a song, ‘Too Correct’ released in 2020, Maggixx, Bella Shmurda, who he featured on his single, ‘Jackpot’ in 2021, and BNXN.
In the post announcing the date of release, Crayon attached a short video which captured the title of the album ‘Trench to Triumph’. The video showed Crayon as a teenager who had dreams of becoming a football player and a recording artist.

After his album is released, Crayon will be performing at different locations with Rema and Victony in North America. Rema recently confirmed him and Victony as special guests in his upcoming North America tour.
