Listen: Olamide Drops His 10th Studio Album ‘Unruly’
Nigerian rapper Olamide has released his highly anticipated tenth studio album ‘Unruly’.
Olamide Adedeji, professionally known as Olamide, on Tuesday night at 11 PM, 8 Aug. 2023, dropped ‘Unruly’, the successor to his ‘UY Scuti’ album, released two years earlier on 18 June 2021.
‘Unruly’ consists of 15 tracks and spans 40 minutes; only five tracks are collaborations featuring some of the most popular ‘new school’ Nigerian artists: Asake, BNXN (fka Buju), CKay, Fireboy DML, and Rema.
Aside the two lead songs—‘Trumpet’ (feat. CKay) and ‘New Religion’ (feat. Asake)—the other three collaborations on the album are ‘Mukulu’ (feat. Rema), ‘Shibebe’ (feat. Fireboy DML), and ‘Come Alive’ (feat. BNXN).
The album opens with ‘Celebrate’, produced by Magicsticks, and closes with ‘Street Jam’, by Eskeez, the main producer of the project; Magicsticks is credited for tracks 1, 3, 5 and 8, and Eskeez for tracks 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Other producers credited are PPrime, for tracks 6 and 7; bbanks, track 1; and Alex Lustig, track 10.
