Omah Lay Reveals Plans To Drop New Album

Nigerian singer Omah Didia Stanley, popularly known as Omah Lay, has revealed he is on working on his sophomore album.

According to the ‘Soso’ crooner, who spoke in a new interview with Adesope Olajide of Afrobeats Podcast, the upcoming album is under way and it is going to be reflect his new state of mind.

He said in part, ‘There’s a new album coming. I’m more happy now [the way I was feeling in “Boy Alone”, you heard it] you’re gonna hear it in this album’.

In early 2022, Omah Lay released the groundbreaking ‘Boy Alone’ album, which produced hit smashes like ‘Understand’, ‘Soso’, ‘I’m a Mess’, and ‘Attention’ (with Justin Bieber).

He followed it with a deluxe edition in early 2023, producing another chart-topping song (‘Reason’) in Nigeria, and an international remix of ‘Soso’ with Latino singer Ozuna.
