Obi Lawson, better known by his stage name Obidiz, has finally answered to Mercy Chinwo’s threat to sue him for N2 billion for mentioning her name in a secular song.
Recall that Mercy Chinwo‘s attorney had sent Obidiz a “stop and desist” letter asking him to remove his “Mercy Chinwo” song from all digital streaming outlets. “Mercy Chinwo” was released in 2023 and portrays the tale of a straying church girl.
Responding to the lawsuit, Obidiz replied saying:
