The ‘Song Of The Year’ category of the Headies Award 2020 has some of Nigeria’s biggest artist lining up. Artists like Wizkid, Davido and Naira Marley all lines up for this category of the 14th edition of the annual award show.
The ‘Song Of The Year’ category is dedicated to major songs that made wave across and outside the country through out the year. This year’s edition sees two of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeats contenders, Wizkid and Davido on the list.
Davido first single for his “A Better Time” Album, “FEM” was nominated for song of the year. Wizkid’s single, “Joro” was also picked as a contender. “Mafo” by Naira Marley, “Duduke” by Simi and “Nobody” by DJ Neptune also made the list for ‘Song of The Year’ category.
