There has been quite a lot of debate among music lovers over who is the bigger artiste between 9ice and Flavour. While some fans believe that 9ice has more hit songs and more international recognition than Flavour, others argue that Flavour has more number of streams and Youtube views than 9ice.

9ice hit songs like Gongo Aso, Photocopy, Street Credibility and so many others were compared with Flavour’s Ada Ada, Levels, Ashawo and so many others.
Lyrically, 9ice was a demon in those days. His music wasn’t just regular. It was filled with didactic elements that will get you thinking.

I think of 9ice as the “Chinua Achebe” of the Industry. His proverbial lyrics were out of this world.
Almost every song was a hit.
