Mayorkun turns Faze’s tune to a 21st century massive hit in “Up To Something” – SONG REVIEW

Remember ‘Che Che’? Well Mayorkun is back with another banger. The Mayor or Lagos recreated Faze’s “Kpo Kpo Di Kpo”. He picked up the famous “You don’t really understand” from “Kpo Kpo Di Kpo” lyrics by Faze.

Weeks after confirming he has gotten a pass by Faze to use the lyrics, Mayorkun makes a masterpiece in “Up To Something”. The DMW star kept it groovy and touchy. He inculcates some Igbo words in his lyrics on the speroach produced beat.The vibe is not just rare, spanky and melodious, it’s equally addictive. He tackles body shaming and encourages ladies to be bold and proud of their looks.

The video directed by Clearance Peters features hundred beautiful ladies in white dresses sitting on a round table. Mayorkun goes on to sing “…Girl I like your body, Natural something, Figure eight or nothing…” as he implores ladies to be proud of their looks. This is massive tune. Its definitely going to be an evergreen song.
