Mavin Record boss, Don Jazzy, has praised Grammy-award-winning artist Wizkid for his endorsing of Mavin all-star ‘Overdose’ song which helped it peak at number one first time since its release.
Wizkid on Instagram stories shared a video of himself jamming to Crayon’s part of the song and singing word-for-word the first verse.
Excited, Crayon reposted the video on his verified Twitter handle.
Few hours after, Wizkid followed Crayon and dropped a comment (that changed everything) in his Instagram’s comments section.
He only wrote, ‘If I marry play this song ❤️😍🦅’.
The controversial comment, which has been pinned by Crayon, made the song become instantly viral, and later helped it peak at number one on the Nigeria Apple Music’s Top 100.
It overtook the number one spot from DJ Spinall and Asake’s Palazoo.
Don Jazzy, chairman of Mavin, in a following appreciation post praises Wizkid for giving the song a ‘timely co-sign’
