Wizkid Loses Mum
Nigerian singer Ibrahim Ayodeji Balogun, globally known as Wizkid, has lost his mum.
Wizkid’s mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died at around 1:30 am on Friday, August 18.
Based on PUNCH’s report, Mr Sunday Are, a longtime manager to Wizkid, confirmed that Mrs Balogun passed on in the early hours of Friday.
‘Yes, she died this morning, at about 1:30 am’, Sunday Are said.
Mrs Balogun is succeeded by her children – Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid), Yetunde Balogun, Lade Balogun – and grandchildren.
