My Sound Is Called Afro-Pluto – Shallipopi
Fast-rising Nigerian singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has declared that his sound is called Afro-Pluto.
The 23-year-old star, who came into the limelight months ago following his break-through single ‘Elon Musk’, made this declaration in a new interview on Factory 78.
‘My sound is called Afro-Pluto,’ said Shallipopi. ‘Everything is about Pluto, not straight-up Hiphop, not straight-up Afrobeats, not straight-up Afro-pop. Just Afro-Pluto.’
Shallipopi also added that his style (Afro-Pluto) of music is more about talking than singing, and that nobody else does that kind of music except him.
‘My music is not more of singing, is more of talking, but singing– and there is nobody that does that except me.’
