Asake Or Seyi Vibez: Who Is Copying The Other Sound? An Analysis

There have been debate about the similarities between Asake and Seyi Vibez, many believe that either of the two talented artiste is copying the other sound, this analysis is set to bring clarity to the argument.

The style of the two artistes of recent is actually very similar; vocals from a large group, fast-paced tunes, an Arabic introduction, and freestyle. Fuji, Prayers are all what make the two artiste distinct from their peers.

However, it should be noted that Seyi Vibez did not start his career with this style or sound. In 2021, the artiste released an album titled ‘No Seyi, No Vibez’, none of these styles was used in the songs on the album.

Asake on the other hand got to the limelight when he released Omo Ope featuring the YBNL boss Olamide, and ever since the artiste has been soaring. Listening to Omo Ope, Asake made use of all the styles mentioned above and he has been consistent with it.
