Atiku: US secretary of state has reaffirmed free and fair elections in Nigeria
The presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forth coming elections, Atiku Abubakar, has said that he has received a call from the US secretary of state Mike Pompeo.
He said Pompoe has reaffirmed the international community’s commitment to free and fair elections in Nigeria.
Atiku made this known to Nigerians in a twitter post an hour ago. He also wished the Nigerian electorates peaceful elections.

The former vice president of Nigeria also urged Eligible voters to come out and vote tomorrow in a video broadcast on his twitter timeline. In the video, he made a remarkable and to many, an unexpected statement, “come out and vote even if you’re not voting for me.”

Elections for the presidential, vice presidential, and house of assembly candidates will be held tomorrow 16th February, 2019 by 8AM.
