#EndSARS: Twitter User Cries Out After Company Suspends Him Indefinitely For Coming Out To Protest

A Nigerian Twitter user has been suspended from his work place for joining the nationwide #EndSARS protest against the incessant rate of police brutality that has ravaged Nigeria.

The user identified as Sam Oluwaseun (shotbyseun), took to his page Wednesday to share the sad news after receiving the letter of suspension. However, the name and other private details of the company was not revealed.

In the letter, the company allegedly claims the reason for suspending the member of staff is as a result of violating their COVID-19 laid down protocols. The affected personnel, however, wonders why he is not quarantined or isolated as supposed.

Do you think the company did right by punishing an employee for going out to speak against the oppression in the country?
