Joeboy Fires Back At Asa For Slamming Him With Copyright Infringement
Singer Joeboy fired back at Asa for slamming him with copyright infringement.
25-year-old Nigerian singer Joeboy has fired back at his senior colleague Asa, who slammed him with copyright infringement and asked that he pay the sum of 300,000,000 naira.
We reported earlier that Asa had accused singer Joeboy of illegally using her musical composition on his new song ‘Contour’.

According to the suit filed against Joeboy on September 30, on his song ‘Contour’ he made use of a composition Asa had recorded in 2020 with Tempoe, the same producer who produced ‘Contour’.
Asa gave him only 24 hours to take down the song off all digital platforms. She equally demanded the sum of 300,000,000 naira and 60% of the song’s publishing split.
Hours after remaining silent about the suit, Joeboy finally took to his Instagram stories to call out the female singer.
In three different stories, he made known that he shouldn’t be taken lightly because he is peaceful and easy-going.
He also dared Asa and her legal team to take action because he hadn’t done as they asked after 24 hours’ notice.
