YBNL’s Fireboy DML in an interview has said that he doesn’t see himself as an Afrobeat artiste and wouldn’t call himself one.
Fireboy DML on the interview said he had always known that he will be an artiste, so his school suffered in the process of following his dreams. Talking further, he talked about his album and everything that inspires the first, second and third album.
Also, he talks about his kind of artiste, noting that he wouldn’t call himself an Afrobeat artiste because his songs are full of reggae, pop and other music genre, when asked which genre of music he sings, he noted that he is just an artiste from Africa not an Afrobeat artiste.
