Jay Z Blasts Grammy Organizers, Asks Them To Get Winners Of The Award Right (Videos)
Jay Z in his acceptance speech blasts Grammy organizers for failing to properly recognize the Black art, urges them to get winners right.
Jay Z who was on the stage with his daughter, Blue Ivy who is also Grammy winner ask the organizers of the arguably biggest award to get the winners right. Referencing the year 1998 when he and DMX dropped albums and he was nominated while DMX who dropped two albums which peaked at number 1 was not ignored.
Jay Z who was receiving the award for Dr Dre Global Impact walso made mention of how Beyonce has so many Grammy and has never won the album of the year. In his words, Jay Z maintained that is not right by any metrics anyone can choose to measure it.
Finally he said that some artistes who did not win the award might go home and feel they have been robbed which is right and some do not even belong to the category they were nominated in.
